How Brand Reflex
actually works.

A multi-agent AI system that detects cultural signals, validates audience reaction, and generates on-brand reactive content in minutes. Four agents, one closed loop, one structured Moment Report at the end.

The short answer

Brand Reflex runs four AI agents in sequence.

Stage 1: Social Listening polls X/Twitter every 30–60 seconds during configured event windows. Stage 2: Moment Detection identifies talk-worthy moments from raw signal volume. Stage 3: a Synthetic Focus Group validates each moment against a configured persona library of audience archetypes. Stage 4: the Content Creator generates on-brand drafts grounded in the brand's voice and reactive playbook.

The full pipeline runs in 1 to 3 minutes per moment — well inside the 60-to-120-second window where social commentary peaks. Output: a structured Moment Report the marketer can review and ship.

Stage 01

Social Listening

Continuous polling of X/Twitter during the brand's configured event window — every 30 to 60 seconds.

The pipeline starts with raw signal. Brand Reflex polls X/Twitter on a continuous cadence during configured event windows — typically every 30 to 60 seconds — pulling tweets, hashtag volume, account-level activity, and Trends data within the brand's geography of interest.

The polling is targeted, not broad. Each Brand Reflex deployment is configured with an Event Briefing that defines exactly what to monitor: which hashtags, which accounts (official, journalists, fan accounts, athletes, broadcasters), which trend WOEID, and which broader topical query.

What gets monitored

  • Hashtag volume tied to the event (#AMilliTakim, #WorldCup2026, #brand-specific)
  • Named accounts from the configured list — official accounts, journalists, fan archetypes
  • Trends data via WOEID-targeted Trends v2 queries
  • Volume metrics via Tweet Counts — used to detect spikes before reading content

Why polling instead of streaming

X's Filtered Stream is more efficient at scale, but polling is simpler for on-demand brand activations and integrates more cleanly with the four-agent pipeline. Filtered Stream is on the roadmap for the long-running monitor mode.

Input
Event Briefing config
(hashtags, accounts, WOEID, query)
Output
Raw signal feed
(tweets + volume + trends)
Stage 02

Moment Detection

The signal-to-moment agent — the part of the system that distinguishes actually-talk-worthy moments from background social volume.

Raw signal is not the same as a moment. Most of what's in social during a live event is noise — replies, jokes that don't land, fans piling onto running threads. The Moment Detection agent's job is to identify the inflection points where the conversation is genuinely turning, and to enrich each one with structured metadata.

This is where Brand Reflex differs from a pure social listening tool. Rather than surfacing everything for human triage, the system makes a structured call: this is a moment, here's why, here's the supporting evidence.

What makes something a moment

  • Volume velocity — a sharp acceleration in tweets per minute on a topic
  • Cross-account propagation — the same theme appearing in unconnected fan archetypes' posts
  • Trend movement — entry, climbing position, or saturation of a hashtag in geo-targeted Trends
  • Brand relevance — alignment with the configured Event Briefing's brand-relevance criteria

The moment metadata

Each detected moment is enriched with: a structured headline (e.g. "Türkiye scores. Arda Güler from outside the box."), timestamp, signal strength score, dominant fan archetypes engaging, vocabulary in use, and 3 to 5 representative posts as evidence.

Input
Raw signal feed
Output
Structured moment object
(headline + metadata + evidence)
Stage 03

Synthetic Focus Group

Each candidate moment is run through a panel of AI personas built from real cultural research — predicting reaction by archetype before any content is drafted.

This is the agent that catches what a generic AI content tool would miss: the difference between a moment that this audience will reward and a moment that this audience will roast you for.

Each candidate moment is run through a configured Persona Library — typically 5 to 10 archetype personas that represent the dominant audience segments for the brand's chosen activation. For Brand Reflex's Türkiye launch, that's seven Turkish football fan archetypes: nationalist elder, club tribal, tactical analyst, Gen-Z meme, diaspora, progressive, and 2002-generation.

What each persona returns

  • A reaction score on a normalized scale, with sign and magnitude
  • A short rationale in the persona's actual register and vocabulary
  • Risk flags if the moment carries cultural sensitivities for that archetype

How this beats a polling survey

Synthetic personas don't replace real audience research — they multiply it. A real persona library is built from authentic cultural research, then deployed against thousands of moments at zero marginal cost per moment. Each persona is grounded in real fan vocabulary, real cultural context, real failure modes — not a generic LLM imagining what a fan might say.

Input
Structured moment object
+ Persona Library config
Output
Persona reactions
(score + rationale + risk flags)
Stage 04

Content Creator

On-brand reactive content drafts grounded in the brand's voice, values, and reactive playbook.

The final agent generates the actual deliverable: typically three on-brand content drafts, each calibrated to the moment, the validated audience reaction, and the platform's content spec.

The Content Creator is grounded in the Brand Profile config — a structured document that defines what the brand sounds like, what it stands for, what it absolutely will not say, and how it has historically responded to live moments. The drafts honor that profile by construction, not by post-hoc filtering.

What each draft contains

  • The actual content — short-form text optimized for the configured channel (X/Twitter for the MVP)
  • Persona alignment notes — which archetypes this draft is calibrated for
  • Brand-voice rationale — why this phrasing fits the Brand Profile
  • Risk flags — any moment-specific brand-safety concerns surfaced from earlier stages

Why three drafts, not one

A single AI-generated draft puts the marketer in a yes-or-no decision. Three drafts give the marketer the choice that actually matters: tonally where to land, not whether to ship at all. The drafts are deliberately calibrated to different points on the brand's spectrum — for example, one straight-emotional, one meme-aware, one tactical — so the marketer can pick the angle that fits the live read of the moment.

Input
Moment + persona reactions
+ Brand Profile + Content Spec
Output
3 content drafts
+ Moment Report wrapper
Beyond social listening

Brand Reflex vs a social listening tool.

Most social listening tools stop where Brand Reflex begins. The difference is in what comes out the other end.

Configuration

Four documents configure the entire engine.

No code change to onboard a new brand or event. Each config is a structured Markdown document the brand team can read, edit, and version.

CONFIG · 1

Event Briefing

What to monitor and when. Hashtags, accounts, trend WOEID, polling cadence, event window. One per event the brand activates around.

CONFIG · 2

Brand Profile

Voice, values, taboos, reactive playbook, reference content, brand-safety rules. Authored once per brand, reused across every event.

CONFIG · 3

Persona Library

The audience archetypes the focus group validates against. Built from real cultural research, swappable per region or audience.

CONFIG · 4

Content Spec

Channel and format requirements. Length, tone, hashtag policy, image policy, brand-handle conventions. Per-channel.

Two surfaces

The team works in chat.
The brand owner reviews in the dashboard.

The four-agent pipeline runs the same way underneath. What changes is the surface. Brand Reflex meets the team where the team already works — in WhatsApp, Slack, or Telegram, as another teammate on the campaign — and the dashboard becomes the audit and configuration layer. Two surfaces, fitted to two different jobs, one engine.

FAQ

How it works — questions.

Architecture, output, and configuration questions teams ask before signing up.

How does Brand Reflex work?
Brand Reflex is a multi-agent AI system. Four agents run in sequence: Social Listening polls X/Twitter for signals around your event; Moment Detection identifies talk-worthy moments from raw signal volume; the Synthetic Focus Group validates each moment against a configured persona library of audience archetypes; and the Content Creator generates on-brand reactive drafts. The pipeline outputs a structured Moment Report in 1 to 3 minutes — well inside the 60-to-120-second window where social commentary peaks.
What are AI agents in the context of marketing?
AI agents in marketing are specialized AI systems that handle distinct steps in a marketing workflow autonomously. Brand Reflex uses four agents — one for social listening, one for moment detection, one for audience validation through synthetic personas, and one for on-brand content generation. Each agent has a single responsibility, which keeps quality and traceability high across the chain.
How is Brand Reflex different from a social listening platform?
Social listening platforms (Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Talkwalker, Meltwater) report on what is happening across social. Brand Reflex includes social listening as Stage 1 of a four-stage pipeline that also validates audience reaction and produces on-brand content drafts. The output is not a dashboard — it is a Moment Report with content ready for marketer review.
What is a Moment Report?
A Moment Report is the structured deliverable Brand Reflex produces. It contains the detected cultural moment with metadata (who, what, when), the signal evidence (representative posts, volume, velocity), the synthetic focus group's predicted reaction by persona archetype, the on-brand content drafts, and brand-safety flags. One report per moment, ready to ship or review.
Does Brand Reflex publish content automatically?
No. Brand Reflex outputs validated drafts for marketer review. The team retains the final shipping decision. Activation (one-click publishing into the brand's social tools) is on the roadmap, with auditability and review controls designed in.
What configures Brand Reflex for a specific brand?
Four structured configuration documents: an Event Briefing (what and when to monitor), a Brand Profile (voice, values, taboos, reactive playbook), a Persona Library (the audience archetypes to validate against), and a Content Spec (channel and format requirements). All four are .md documents — no code change to onboard a new brand.
Where does the AI agent fit in the architecture?
The agent is one of two surfaces on the same engine. The four-stage pipeline runs the same way underneath. The chat surface — Brand Reflex installed in the team's WhatsApp, Slack, or Telegram workspace — is where the team works in real time during a live moment. The dashboard surface is where configuration is authored and the audit trail lives. Same engine, two surfaces, fitted to two different jobs. See the AI agent surface →
